College students who use ebooks?
Starting a new college (ASU) that uses many ebooks. I have an amazon kindle touch now, but I'm thinking about getting an iPad for graduation and for my new school. What is better to buy ebooks from, amazon or ibooks? What do you prefer and why?

Definitely better to get from Amazon. First, there's a higher chance to find the books you want on Amazon. Second, if you get ebooks from Apple iBooks, they can only be used on Apple devices but not other mobile devices or tablets (like Android tablets, Kindles, etc.) However if you get ebooks from Amazon, you can use them on almost all smartphones and tablets, including Apple devices, Android tablets, Blackberry, Kindles, etc. It gives you flexibility in the future.
You can look up for your textbooks and see whether they are available in ebook format, as not all books are available in ebook format:
