What about bush airport shooting, conservatives?
In the wake of the Bush Airport shooting, do conservatives think we should allow "responsible" citizens pack in airports? Over the last year or so every violent activity from school shootings to university stabbings to terrorist standoffs with police (Boston bombing, in which Chris Wallace said " Don't you think the people of Watertown would have liked to have a gun?"). So if that argument is to stay consistent shouldn't the conservatives be calling for more responsible citizens with guns?
Notice I said CITIZENS, I have no problem with beefed up security. But the conservative argument was less about beefed up security at schools & more about letting "responsible" citizens carry in these targeted areas.
Ok so far the conservatives that have answered don't understand my question. I'm questioning the conservative argument that comes up when gun violence happens in areas that prohibit guns. Thus far the argument was to arm citizens or allow "responsible" gun owners to carry their weapon into the "previously" gun prohibited area. In other words, SHOULD WE ALLOW GUNS IN AIRPORTS?

On what factual basis are you making a claim that this incident had anything to do with responsible citizens or some delusional belief that conservatives think citizens should pack in airports.
If you had the ability to perceive the world around you, you'd have noticed that the incidents you mention all occurred where "sensible liberal laws" prohibited or severely curtailed citizens' ability to carry or possess weapons with which they could have defended themselves with.
Also, if you were to review all the incidents, you will find that those that were stopped by armed citizens, far fewer people were killed. That's because armed citizens are already there on the scene, not being victims waiting 20 or more minutes for police to arrive.
You've offered no compelling, logical or even fact-based argument as to why your preferred citizen-as-victim disarming policy is any better, or that it makes anybody any safer.
well?

I carry a concealed hand gun all the time. Businesses, which don't serve alcahol, can ban you from entering the premises but just posting a legal sign banning concealed weapons. So far I have not run across one place that has banned me from coming in without my weapon. I wonder why?

A guy with a gun shot themselves. Regretfully, it happened in an airport. We have psycho cops out here dying to shoot someone. You librerals have no problem with what happened at Ruby Ridge and Waco, but you have big problems with citizens with guns. All of your impetus seems to point at having a totalitarian government. I, and many others, dont want to be a part of your commie regime.

Actually, the NRA suggested increased security (which is what I personally would prefer).
We don't know enough about the airport shooting, yet, to comment.

what are you going to do when you find out this nutcase was packing stolen weaponry which no amount of background checks would have stopped.
