Ok so im trying to get a job a this place called "OnTrac" Is a company that delivers various things to final destinations. So to get a job there you need your own car that you are gonna be delivering it with. Also gonna have to get a commercial insurance. So they told me that i also need a business license so i went and got the application, So on the application do i check the box where it says "Open/Reopen Business" and then "New Trade Name (Doing business As)".. im new to this so if someone could help me i would greatly appreciate.

Unless you want to pay extra for a fictitious business name just use your own name. First talk to your car insurance and see if you can get commercial coverage without "owning" your own business. If you can't find out if you will be a 1099 employee with ontrac. If you are a 1099 and you can't get that insurance without you own company then finish filling out the paper and dont check that box, just leave it and the line blank.
