can someone calculate my grade for me?
i have a 53.8 in pre cal. tests are 45% of the grade. quiz are 25%. cw/hw is 10%. and special assignments are 20%. my average for tests is 33.0%. 46.5% for quizzes. 72.8% for cw/hw. and 100% for special assignments. i have a test on monday. can anyone calculate what i would need to get on it to bring me up to a 59.5% or higher in the overall grade of the class?? we have only taken 1 test in the class and two quizzes.

59.5 = ((x*45)+(46.5*25)+(72.8*10)+(100*20)) / 100
5950 = (x*45)+(46.5*25)+(72.8*10)+(100*20)
2059.5 = x*45
x = 45.767%
So you need to bring your test average up to 46%, which means on the test on Monday, you will need to get...
(33+y) / 2 = 45.767
33+y = 91.53
y = 58.53%
So you will need to get 59% on your test on Monday to get your overall percentage up to 59.5%.
