SSI back pay repaid to Long Term Disability ?
I was disabled in May 2010 and received FMLA, short term, and long term disability. I recently won my SSI disability case. I know about having to pay back Prudential, my LTD provider. Will my entire back pay go to them or just the amount made since being on LTD? Obviously, in my position, I need as much help financially as possible so I'm hoping I can hang onto something at least.

If you received a lump sum SSI settlement Prudential will expect to be paid back by the amount of the offset that was due for both STD and LTD. Future SSI payments would reduce the amount that Prudential will pay for future payments.

Everything that prudential paid, will be paid back = if there is any remaining, you will be paid that.
You write intelligently. I looked at your other questions and they are written in decently constructed sentences. Your brain appears to work and you can attend social events, it seems.
- I hope you are attending some job retaining program or attempting to do some kind of job. Attempting to live off of $710 a month & $2000 asset limit = it doesn't seem like it should be a long term answer for you.
