Opinions on FSU's German Program?

I am looking to transfer, my current University is having severe cut backs and can barely support their German program. I fear they will cut the major before I am finished so I am looking into FSU.

So what is your opinion about their program? Is it well put together? Is there good RECENT study material available int he library? Do they actually have tutors available through the school? Is the German club active? Anything else? Good with the bad, no program is perfect!

Update:

I am more than 2 years from graduation. I addition they have already cut their PhD program. After this year I will be the only German Major at University (plenty of minors though).

Update 2:

Also, they've cut all the funding for the program to the bone. There are no resources available but 3 old dictionaries and a grammar book dating pre-1950. These materials are so old that because of the grammar and spelling changes, I've lost points on tests for using their information. I feel like I am over paying for a low quality education (although some professors are simply top notch and the only reason I am considering staying), and that a transfer might still be in the better interest. So I need to know if FSU is a well funded, active, German program or one like this.

When universities discontinue programs they usually give students at least 1 or 2 years to finish. They don't make you change majors immediately. I wouldn't transfer unless you are more than 2 years away from graduating.
