Make a Quote on Your Life.. Can You?

Pain is what we must endure to live on. It's a never ending cycle.

Life is not what you make it but what it will make you.

Probably someone has said this or something similar to this but my life has not been at all what I wanted as a kid. My dad almost died and my parents want to file for a divorce so it seems like my life is falling apart but I am thinking optimistically and saying to myself that somehow in some way this will make me a better person and shape out a life that I can learn from.

I just completed the first 60 years of my life. I lived, loved, worked as I WANTED to do. I had many bosses in my life, teachers, employers, that tried to force me to live my life as they saw I should live. ALL FAILED.

I am now retired, as of May 1, 2013. I am in the beginning stages of the next 60 years of my life. I joined a gym yesterday, going for the first time today. I looked into Senior Citizen centers for daily activities.

OK, I have GOT to say something about Senior Citizen Centers. No. 1 - they don't want you near their door until at least age 70. No. 2 - they don't go anywhere! I thought a lot of bus field trips to cool places. Nope. They sit and play cards, checkers, make baskets, make pottery.

Well, s-c-r-e-w that....

During the summer, beach every day. I got a 20 gallon aquarium and I am going to find things at thre beach (fish, invertebrates) to put into the tank. Cannot wait.

And celebrate my 120th birthday. I can die the day AFTERWARDS.

Give me one solution rather than 10 excuses !

Slow and steady is benign in relationships.
