Want to record myself playing piano to youtube?
Hey guys, i want to record some videos of myslef playing piano but i obviously dont have all the hi-tech equipment for good sounding audios when i record them. All i have is my phone camera and my little crappy digital camera.
What's the most cheapest and effective way to get great sound of me playing the piano?

If your computer has a built in microphone you can download Audacity. It's a free recording program.

The issue you are going to have is that no $200 camera is going to have a microphone worth a crap. The image quality will be fine, the sound will be no better than what you have on your iPhone. Even a DSLR with video is going to have crappy sound. If you have the ability to edit video and sound, a better solution would be an external sound recorder. Much better sound, and then you remove the sound from the iPhone video (or just turn it off if you can) and replace the audio track with the file from the external recorder. It's the sound that is important when playing an instrument, not watching you play the instrument.

You already have enough equipment to record dude. Just decide where you will sit and record. Place your mobile steady to capture that area. make sure for good background like white wall etc works good. record and then you can use editing software. It works wonder. good luck!
