Laptop wont start up, how can I recover files?

My acer aspire laptop wont start up, not even in safe mode or from last good configuration, it just keeps going back to the start up repair, which its been doing for about 2 hours now. There is work on there that I need!! Is there any way that I can retrieve my files???

Get a computer technician to remove the harddrive from the laptop and put it in a housing unit. It will then become a portable harddrive and all of your files should be on there. Good luck!

    http://www.davidhagy.com/how-to-recover-files-from... a quick guide

i prefer Unetbootin to make a usb drive bootable http://unetbootin.net/

there are howto's on the site for using it .

as for a Linux OS there are many you can use to get your stuff from the hard drive.

also seeing as the Windows hasn't been shut down properly it may give you a warning when mounting the drive .

the unetbootin program has a drop down list to chose a linux os or rescue os

Kubuntu or LinuxMint are two good options as there interface's are easier to understand .

P.S. if you need more help just send a message to me .

    Good luck

maybe the best method is try telling your friends or relatives with the same brand of your laptop and insert your hard disk or go to the nearest acer company/branch for help. thats the best help i can offer.
