why do MJs (Messianic Jews) and JWs (Jehova's witnesses) worship an angel?
(Col 2:18) Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind.
where did they get the idea of Jesus being Michael? the JWs idea was from the watchtower, what about the MJs? or are both coming from the watchtower?
just wondering...
can what? =.=
i just realized the MJs and JWs doctrine are almost the same... why? haha
and yet i just gave a verse where it says people shouldn't worship angels...
either you're out of context... or the bible contradicts... (i just realized you're a JW or MJ... that threat is kinda hollow since you have your magazines and stuff) lol
@SD M... the MJ version of Jesus is Michael. much like JW's
MJ do... you may be a new member or have seen other MJs here... they cover up their doctrines by making the sabbath an issue (which is not). they put out the sabbath issue for show, but they hide what they really teach.

Messianic Jews are Jews that consider that Jesus is the Messiah (utilizing Christian terms). The entire Messianic Jews i have met were born of a Jewish mom. Under Jewish regulation that makes them Jews. Jews that do not think in Jesus say they're apostates or now not Jews even though they have got by no means been ready to exhibit whatever in scripture to aid the inspiration that they are now not Jews for believing in Jesus. Jewish web sites that try to provide an explanation for why notion in Jesus have a working out Jesus and the Trinity that isn't compatable with what most Christians suppose in. There are some folks that have been (or are) Christians that have declare to be Messianic Jews. Practically all Christians would disagree with conversions like this (including me). We would also strongly disagree and condem one of the most tactics utilized by one of the these related to Jews for Jesus. J4J is just one of might be countless numbers of Messianic companies. I noticed tons of individuals have opinions on Catholic views of the Messianic motion. Opposite to the opinions listed here we don't have any of the opinions listed right here on this query. The participation in Jewish rituals does now not bring condemnation. As to the next feedback "Messianic Jews get alongside very well with Protestants, however there's some main issue in the case of Roman Catholics, Lutherans and different denominations that practice replacement Theology (the educating that God has ceaselessly turned His back on the Jews and has now turned His concentration to the Gentile Church)." it is a entire misrepresentation of Catholic beliefs and theology. The Pope has commented generally on the area of Judaism and we do not consider that "God has perpetually became His again on the Jews". EWTN (a Catholic cable Channel) has a exhibit that is run through Hebrew Catholics that observe or follow the Jewish legislation. How much of it I have no idea. This goes against the notion that they are "no longer allowed to obey Torah and observe the feasts." although it's a usual belief it isn't proper. I've met and understand a few Messianic Jews and have gotten along well with and like them very a lot.

"either you're out of context... or the bible contradicts."
You have to show where the Jewish scriptures would suggest that Messianic Jews worship an angel. We are monotheistic.
***where did they get the idea of Jesus being Michael? ***
Messianic Jews don't which is why your question is bizarre.
