Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

Why can't I access Yahoo Avatars homepage? I want to edit my avatar, but are they taking them down or what?

When I look it up on Yahoo, they give the Yahoo Avatars link, but it sends me to my profile, and I cannot find that option there. Is it my computer? I have the latest Adobe Flashplayer installed, so what is happening? Anybody experiencing the same?

Update:

Also... Why does this one (yes, this one right besides the question) is different from the one I see above on the left corner? The one that says "Hi, YourName"

I created them both, but how can I have the same one for both icons? Of course, after I have edited it...

They took down the avatar creation site in April 2013. It's gone. You can no longer create or edit avatars on Yahoo. You'll need to find another site that has free avatars and go there. You can download it to your computer and upload it to Y!A. I hope your avatar doesn't get seasick from all that up-and-down motion.

I hope they bring back Yahoo Avatars.
