Of course it does, why would someone running dump in 50 times more money than the job pays. It's all about what they get after they are elected under the table.

I hate to burst your bubble but the rep politicians are the ones getting the large campaign contributions (but much fewer of them) while the dems get many times more donations of much smaller amounts ...

No, but I do agree that money buys elections, and votes. along with false promises. those two things can bebought using money. but you can't buy the hearts of true americans.
