what's the best way to save for a trip?
i'm planning on taking a trip to California the week of June 22nd. i'll be taking Amtrak.
what is the best way to save. the ticket only costs $198 + tax. besides that, i'll need to save for hotels and walking around money.
i don't use, nor plan on using credit cards.

Depending on your financial situation, you may want to consider putting away $50 to $100 per paycheck to save for your trip. If you work a traditional 9 to 5 as most people do, this will enable you to save a reasonable amount of money.
You can also consider selling some personal items you no longer use or are no longer attached to in order to put aside additional money.
