Ive been CATFISHED. What to do?
I watched Catfish on MTV and saw how they did image searches to find fake profiles etc.
Well, i searched like 4 images, and on the final 5th one, it came up with a dating website match on Datehookup.com
This profile isnt me. It says my name is Jean and i live in Gillette and am 25 - All the wrong information. It also has 5 other images of me as well as a last log on date as TODAY.
Im freaking out now as someone has basicly stolen my my image identity.
I cannot report the webiste as to report a problem, you need to become a member (fishy...)
Anyone know what i need to do to remove this?!
I live in the UK and the image is based around the USA.

There are scam busting sites with online lists of the names scammers use, their fake job offers, their email addresses, stock copy/paste emails, paid-for-in-cash cell phone numbers, stolen pictures and fake websites they use. You could start your search and post/ask at such sites.

Create an account just to report the profile then immediately cancel the account
Or just try emailing them here -- be sure to include a link to the fake profile using your photos
Also make sure your Facebook profile is set to private. As long as your profile is not private an only vieweable by friends, anyone can copy your pictures and use them all over the world on all sorts of sites
If you have any other social networking sites, also make sure your profile is private there as well to prevent anyone from copying your photos
Now that a scammer has used your photos once, you'll have to keep doing Google Images and Tineye.com searches every few days to make sure they have not made a new profile on any other site impersonating you

The site should have some kind of contact info or email address, even if it's just for the webmaster.
