I recently bought a blackberry mobile from Ebay, it arrived friday with no battery life.

I charged it up all day and when I turnt it on, its come up with a password that I need to enter, and the name of Emma **** in the top left corner.

I contacted the seller and explained the situation, he saod it was his sisters and she cant remember the code. It makes me think its a stolen blackberry that I've purchased? I purchssed it and it stated that it were fully working and unlocked. The photos showed a blsckberry on a working menu.

I've contacted ebay to let them know of the situation but now I'm stuck with a locked BlackBerry.

Is there anyway I csn get into the phone? Someone said you can enter the password wrong 10 times and it wipes all info and factory resets..... does this mean it woukd then be unlocked?

I know that sounds daft, but how do you go about doing it?

I've been offered a job placement, starting asap, but I need to give 6 weeks notice, ideally my new job will wait 4 weeks but 6 is a little too long.

In my current job, we do have too many staff and not enough children. A previous colleague gave only 3 weeks notice as she were relocating (as am I) and I'm hoping they would accept 4 weeks.

What do I write on the letter? Do I initially give 6 weeks amd then ask to leave at 4? Or just give 4 weeks notice?

I don't wamt to annoy my current employer as I still need good references and a placement transfer (I'm studying for a nvq)

My father in law owns 2 houses, one where I live with my partner currently and a other around a hour and half away in a different town.

The house we currently reside in is proving to be too big and expensive, so he has come up with the idea to house swap, we downsize to his lovely little house, he has our current home.

This is due end of september.

We are happy with this arrangement, however, if I do move, I would have to leave my current job and possibly transfer elsewhere. I currently do not drive (although I have a test booked for early september and looking for cancelations but I cannot rely on passing)

I'm also studying for a NVQ in childcare, due to finish october. My tutor has informed me that if I find a placement near my new home I can continue my studies and possibly progress further.

Shoukd I discuss my situation with my employer? Or keep shutum?

Ok so im going to sound cheap here, but, ive just booked an over night spa package for myself and my partner, includes a few treatments, dinner, breakfast facility usage and a room for the night.

It said nothing online about check in/out times, i assumed check in would be around 12, and check out at around 11-12 the next day.

I called the Spa, and they told me check in was at 3pm, my body massage booked for 4pm for a hour, 5.30 was my facial (till 6) then dinner at half 6 till 8.

The spa facilities shut at 9pm, and im not going to swim etc after a 4 course dinner, ill be sick!

Spa opens at 8am, but weve been booked in for breakfast at 9am so say until 9.30-9.45.

We are basicly not going to get to use all or any of the facilities...

This overnight package has cost me over £300, am i sounding tight? Or do you think i have a right to say something? Would you? If so, what would you say in the email?

Please dont respond with harsh comments, im just curious....

My parents 25th anniversary is coming up in a few weeks, and my dads asked him to help find a nice hotel and something to do to celebrate it.

Im totally stuck for ideas. My mum loves the seaside, but they always visit brighton and dislike blackpool. They want somewhere they can go visit places and do things.

Anyone got any towns/city suggestions?

We live in essex, so ideally within 2 hours traveling distance....

For my NVQ Lv2 in Child Care, ive been asked to write a case study on a child with behavioural problems and how we dealt with it by placing a strategy in place.

Ive no idea what to write as we havent had any children with behavioural problems that weve needed to deal with in that way.

Does anyone have an idea or example of something i could use for this? Ive been doing it all day and kept putting this question off as i cant think of what to write!

Im taking my "little" sister who is 13 to Thorpe Park tomorrow. Shes extremely excited, and really wants to go onto the Saw Ride, shes seen it advertised and thinks it would be amazing to go on.

Ive heard from word-of-mouth that it features real live actors in the pig masks that feature in the film.

I personally would be ok with this, I dont mind people dressing up and scaring me, but i really do not think my sister would be ok with this. Shes always hated people in costumes and mascots since she was a child.

Ive heard the actors dont actually participate on the ride, that they are just simply part of a maze that is next to the ride and if we dont want to go through the maze we can avoid this.

Is this true? Can anyone clarify this? I dont want to disapoint her by not going on the ride if we know its ok without the actors, but then again, i dont want to take her on it if its going to really upset her on a fun day out.

I watched Catfish on MTV and saw how they did image searches to find fake profiles etc.

Well, i searched like 4 images, and on the final 5th one, it came up with a dating website match on Datehookup.com

This profile isnt me. It says my name is Jean and i live in Gillette and am 25 - All the wrong information. It also has 5 other images of me as well as a last log on date as TODAY.

Im freaking out now as someone has basicly stolen my my image identity.

I cannot report the webiste as to report a problem, you need to become a member (fishy...)

Anyone know what i need to do to remove this?!

My Nans 70th birthday is coming up in April, and we have decided as a family to all get together for a meal to celebrate, as its not often we are al together due to living over different parts of England.

Gathering ideas for my forthcoming wedding.

We've both decided on a candy sweet theme, penny sweets, haribo etc, and our colour theme is Fusha and Azure.

We would like our 8 guest tables to be named after types of sweets, then also have big glass jars of these sweets on the table as center features, then a name for our head table (We were thinking Love Hearts, after swizzles love heart tubes?)

Its quite a big gig, LOTS of people, so the train home after will be manic (I've done it before and swore I wouldn't do it again! Hence the wanting a hotel)

Obviously we don't mind getting a train a few stops to a nearby destination, but the closer the better to be honest.

I started writing a Childrens book years ago, when I was 18, but didn't persue it, as thought far to many people were out there trying their luck, and gave up.

I've recently started writing again, and have managed the first half of a childrens book.

My question is, how would I go about finding a possible publisher? I know it sounds silly, but I'm weary of emailing or sending copys of my book in case someone steals it, how can I make it mine? Or copywrite it before sending a copy?

Is there anything you can buy that you can place on your glasses that alows you to wear them whilst on rollercoasters or at a theme park?

My sister is short sighted, and needs to wear glasses 24/7. We are off to Disneylandin a week or so. Last time she went, she had to remove her glasses for all rides for fear of loosing or breaking them.

I remember seeing a woman whilst at Alton Towers who had this elasticy thing around her head that kept her glasses on tight for the rides.

Does anyone know what these are called? Or where i can buy one online in the UK, as its short notice.
