Hotels near 02 Arena, London?
Hello all,
I'm off to a gig at the 02 Arena, London in October and would like/want a nearby hotel to stay in.
Does anyone have any recomendations or suggestions?
Its quite a big gig, LOTS of people, so the train home after will be manic (I've done it before and swore I wouldn't do it again! Hence the wanting a hotel)
Obviously we don't mind getting a train a few stops to a nearby destination, but the closer the better to be honest.

The closet hotel to the 02 arena is Holiday Inn, its like a 10-15 minute walk away

www.laterooms.com and www.hotels.com are good at finding hotels near where you want to go. Remember to check any hotel on www.tripadvisor.com before you go to make sure it's not a complete dump.
The tube goes to the O2 so anywhere on the tube line is fine to get back to assuming you're not travelling after midnight. If you are then somewhere in Greenwich is ideal although prices will be through the roof rom 26 July - 11 August because of the Olympics.
