Leaving job due to relocation?
My father in law owns 2 houses, one where I live with my partner currently and a other around a hour and half away in a different town.
The house we currently reside in is proving to be too big and expensive, so he has come up with the idea to house swap, we downsize to his lovely little house, he has our current home.
This is due end of september.
We are happy with this arrangement, however, if I do move, I would have to leave my current job and possibly transfer elsewhere. I currently do not drive (although I have a test booked for early september and looking for cancelations but I cannot rely on passing)
I'm also studying for a NVQ in childcare, due to finish october. My tutor has informed me that if I find a placement near my new home I can continue my studies and possibly progress further.
Shoukd I discuss my situation with my employer? Or keep shutum?

You should give your employer an idea about you being relocating and leaving job without being getting into much details. If they could provide you transportation facilities like pick and drop from your new house to office then I think you shopuld continue with the job until you get placement.
