SAW RIDE - Thorpe Park Actors.?

Im taking my "little" sister who is 13 to Thorpe Park tomorrow. Shes extremely excited, and really wants to go onto the Saw Ride, shes seen it advertised and thinks it would be amazing to go on.

Ive heard from word-of-mouth that it features real live actors in the pig masks that feature in the film.

I personally would be ok with this, I dont mind people dressing up and scaring me, but i really do not think my sister would be ok with this. Shes always hated people in costumes and mascots since she was a child.

Ive heard the actors dont actually participate on the ride, that they are just simply part of a maze that is next to the ride and if we dont want to go through the maze we can avoid this.

Is this true? Can anyone clarify this? I dont want to disapoint her by not going on the ride if we know its ok without the actors, but then again, i dont want to take her on it if its going to really upset her on a fun day out.

(P.s - Please no snidey comments, im asking for the warefare of my little sister. Shes more than capable of going on any other rides, as she has in previous years. Last year we were unable to ride as it was being repaired...)
