A tragically awful first date?
My friend has recently had a terrible first date. He has been in a relationship for years and finally been persuaded to go on a date after a messy break up. I was wondering if anyone has some terrible first date stories to help console my disheartened friend.

I've had two really embarrassing ones. The first, I went to the toilet after meeting this really nice guy for the first time and came back out with my dress tucked in my tights. He didn't tell me so I didn't realise till I got home. It was awful to think that everyone saw me at the restaurant and didn't let me know. That relationship didn't go anywhere.
Ummm, the second. My date was going really badly and he went into the rest room. When he came back I pretend to be on the phone to give myself an excuse to leave, and as I was doing the whole "oh no, is she ok, I'll be right over" rant, my phone actually started ringing!!! Exchanged looks of confusion and disgust at this horrid trick seemed to fill the room.
I have such skills on dates..... NOT!!!! Xxx
