take the ASVAB while still in school. you'll score higher. stay fit if you choose to go the special ops route. if you have friends going in the navy in a delay entry program and tell the recruiter they referred you they may get bumped up a paygrade.

Have a plan B.
The services are scaling back. You will have to meet or exceed their standards. You better think about college, a trade school, or a job.

The first and apparent one is be in shape, be able to pass the PT test. Don't talk back and be quite. Know ranks as well.
