Should I buy a PS3 or wait for the PS4?
For which console should I go for. And if I purchase PS4 will it require high end TV?
I first thought of a high-end PC but a console is always better than a PC as far as game compatibility is concerned.

you should buy the ps4 as it is really worth the money. And if you wish to play good games then u should go for the ps4 because there are a lot of sequels to the ps3 being released on the ps4 like infamous second son, killzone 4, Assassin's creed black flag (also released on ps3 but on ps4 u will have a good gaming experience) and i am not sure but i most probably think that the next uncharted will be released only for the ps4 ( i am a fan of it).

I bought to my ps3 too early(i have the slim one) if i had waited some more i could have got ps3 super slim or a ps4.
The Ps4 will be released on holiday 2013(around september). It will have a better controller with a touchpad and like the new trend it will have backwards compatibility with the ps3 games (like wii u compatible to wiii games)
Go with my advice and u will be in profit!
You should wait for the Ps4 to be released and then buy it.
