Well, first of all, you want to get a lot of viewers for the right reasons. Anymoron can upload a music video of Metallica or Evanescence and get a million views, but they are just getting views because of someone else's hard work.

Try to find something that you are good at, something that is funny or catchy.

Second of all, make lots of friends onyoutube by liking other people's videos and subscribe to them, if yougive positive feedback, it will make them more likely to subscribe to youback.

Use lots of tags for a video! You will never get any views if nobody can find your video when they search for it. If you make a short parody about say Skyrim, give it a TON of tags, Like Syrim, Parody, Funny, Stupid, XQS VEKJFJ ERJWEJ. The more tags you use to describe your video, the more likely it will appear when people put in search terms.
