Is this true or false?

No, it was Sarah Palin who was ignorant about that particular historical event.....although Bachmann has had plenty of her own historical screw ups. http://voices.yahoo.com/michele-bachmann-waterloon...

That was not her claim, but Sarah Palin's. I believe Sarah Palin actually claimed that Paul Revere rode to warn the British that the British were coming, a speaking gaffe. The claim is false.

Paul Revere rode to warn of the impending British invasion before the battles of Lexington and Concord that ignited the American Revolution.

I don't know if she said that or not, but she has made more ridiculous comments so I would have no trouble believing that she made this one.

It's false as you stated it because someone can not "road". He may have "rode" though.
