Cloud software security?
Does anyone had any security concerns with cloud-based services? I'm a bit worried about privacy of invoices or work breakdowns that are stored somewhere else. What are the ideas of increasing the security of cloud-based services?

Encrypt your data prior to uploading it to the cloud if you want to be secure.
(you are talking about cloud-based online storage services, aren't you? )
Archive them with PeaZip or WinZip or WinRAR etc.
Use a STRONG PASSWORD and try to also use a strong encryption
algorithm (like 256-bit AES). PeaZip is free and it supports this
encryption protocol.

In fact, I didn't have any security issues. I'm sure that for those guys who are working for national agencies there's no secure data. And it's much more difficult for the competitors to get data from a cloud service than from your secretary.
We use Comindware Tracker that is cloud based for time tracking and invoice tracking. And it's quite OK.
You may found a company that has its cloud stored in France. They have very clear and strict laws about privacy there. They say that the only way a provider could expose data would be trough a legal warrant issued by a court.
