    If you are employed, the answer is yes, if you're still in school and do not have a job, then the answer is no

    No. Too easy to spend money, and too easy to overdraft, incurring huge fees. Handling green cash teaches financial responsibility better.

    {In fact, I am generically opposed to debit cards.}
