Why Is It So?Am I a genius?

Question

My traits somewhat match to Albert Einstein like he never liked going school,he used to ask too many questions,he didn't like to mug up things,he used to do think deeply.I am very good in mind games like Jigsaw Puzzles,Sudoku,Chess,Mazes.When I was only 12 years old I solved the 500 pieces of Jigsaw puzzle which was meant for people 14-adult then I solved 750 pieces of Jigsaw Puzzle when I was 15.My aunt who is a Chief Medical Officer keep on saying me that I have a very sharp brain.I study less still I get good grades..My guesses are correct many times.I learn faster than normal people.My handwriting is outstanding.I am also creative..Why is it so??Am I a genius or just having a high I.Q?Pls. Pls. tell me correct.

I am very good in writing essays also.My teacher used to appreciate me a lot and I always got highest marks in writing essays..I also once arranged diansheng white colour cubes.And I am very sensitive which is a typical trait of gifted children.I too remember my childhood when I was only 4 years old which is not normal.

While you may be smarter than most, you are most likely not a genius. No offense to you but the minor mistakes within your questions tell me most likely you are above average but not a genius. (to whoever said Einstein failed school just because it's on the internet does not mean its true, even if it's his picture with a quote on top of it)

Einstein not only didn't like going to school, he flunked out of it.  He found it to slow for his learning capability and as such, boring.   Keep in mind that IQ, as a basis, just defines your capability to learn.  Now with that being said, the term has been spread across to various aspects of ones self such as creative IQ, Logical/Reasoning IQ, Knowledge IQ, etc.  Are you a genius?  It is possible.  If you wish to compare yourself to others, a good way of doing that is taking MENSA's practice/entrance exam.  It will give your score in the percentile range and given how many have taken it, it can be a valid basis for comparison.

A bit of advice though, don't get caught up on whether you are a genius or not.  Just be yourself, whoever that may be.  You don't have to be a genius to be intelligent. :)

By defenition you are a genius, but a true genius is someone who expand on what is already known and test the foundation of what we believe to be true. Someone like william james sidis who at the age of eight was developing new logarythm table. Estimated I.Q 250-300

Well you're about average from what I understood in your question. Parts of your question were poorly written. And it's not very hard to do a jigsaw puzzle. But as long as you study you'll be fine.
