How to make a yes and no function in Excel 2007?
The function i need is for it to indicate "yes" or "no" if it meets a certain number requirement. An example is if a person gets a bonus or not depending on the amount of sales they need. They may need $30,000 and one sells $40,000 and the other sells $20,000. The first person would be a "yes" and the second person would be a "no". I just need a function that will show that if it meets the requirements

Use an if function
Assume the amount is in A1 and the answer is going into A2 then in cell A2
=if(A1>30000,"Yes","No")

You wish to have to make use of the date() operate? Thats mostly used to convert a number right into a date. A date is at all times a serial number if your date is in A1 it suggests 2/7/2009 - proper click on the phone - click layout cells... - click quantity for those who dont wish to chenge the cellphone with the date, then in B1 just use =A1 and that you would be able to layout column B as normal or a number hope that helps
