I have two typed letters that are from Ted Kennedy that I recieved in the early seventies. Could they be worth anything, they contain his autograph.

Update:

How and where could I get it appraised?

It actually depends on the content of the letter. A signed index card goes for about $15 at current market rate. If your letters contain content such as his most memorable moments from his career, then it could possibly go in the $30 to $50 range per letter since it is typed. If it is just a response letter thanking you for an autograph request, then you fall back to the $15 range.

You'd have to have it confirmed that he actually signed both - it could have been done with a machine, or be a "secretary signature" (someone signed it for him). Of the Kennedy brothers, Ted lived by far the longest, so I suspect his autograph is the least rare - and so least valuable. Neat to have however.
