Will Nyquil Cough show up on a drug test?
I was just informed that I have to take a drug test at a random, unannounced time this summer. I take the Cough variety Nyquil, NOT the Cold and Flu kind, for mild insomnia (I don't want teh side effects of the prescription drugs) and allergies. I think the active ingredients are Doxylamine Succinate as the antihistamine and Dextromethorphan HBr as the cough suppressant. Will these show up on a drug test?
I believe it's a urine test, probably an EMIT.

Yes. it shows up as a depressant even though it is not. Its called a false positive. If my doc is testing you then you are finished. He doesn't care if its a false positive or not, you ain't getting no methadone if he detects any cheating.

Looking for this answer!!! Does any one know. My son is a diabetic. in the pat year al have been negative. One time it was a false/positive, re took test and came back negative. Now he just has another one and it came back positive., He has been in jail so not sure how this would of happened. What illegal drugs can show up urine sample from a type 1 diabetic. That are really negative but show up positive. Need to know, need proof that a type 1 diabetic can show up positive was it is not. I know there are some. Does anyone know what drugs can do this
