How to decorate my room with my blanket?

I am moving and I want to paint my room pale green, with a rose accent wall; the reason I want to paint it those colors is because a, I love pink and green, and b, I have matching curtains and storage boxes. It is a loft and it doesn't have a window, except for one looking down on the living room. The only problem is, it that I have an 7' x 7' blanket, I sewed myself that I really want to put in my room, however it is turquoise and a tan and brown leopard print. I know that brown, pink, green and turquoise clash, so how do I decorate my room with that blanket. I want to keep it out, because I worked really hard on it. I was thinning that I could put it in my living room or walk in closet with some turquoise and red mirrors, only my mother might not let me. Any ideas?
