Can you drink milk after the expiration date if it's unopened?
I have a bottle of milk in the fridge which has an expiration date of 5th May.. I haven't opened it and I hate throwing stuff away if it hasn't even been touched... Is it still safe to drink?

Absolutely, you have 7 days, one week, to use the milk after the promote by using date. But, don't forget this: How was once the prior parts used? Is there any individual in the residence drinking instantly from the carton? Has it been not noted long adequate to reach room temperature before being re-chilled? If these are not a situation, then consider this one last thing. How so much "contaminated" air ratio to take advantage of is within the container. If you're down to just a drizzle of milk, and it is the center of the 7 days prior, reduce your loss, and get more milk. Unless this is for cooking or baking. Then just use it. If the container has more milk than air, scent, style a small quantity, and go for it!

A couple of days past the expiration date should be ok. You'll know if the milk is bad or not. It will smell funny and taste bad. Expiration dates are just guidelines, they are not exact.

but also it to spoil in 24 hour if left out in room temp that length of time

I'm of the belief that if it smells okay, take a sip, and if it tastes okay, then drink up.
