Can North Korea's artillery destroy all of Seoul if they attacked?

North Korea already has so much artillery pointed at South Korea's capital Seoul, since the ceasefire of the Korean war in 1953, and Seoul is close enough for NK's artillery attacks to reach. So if North Korea did fire all of it's artillery at Seoul will it be destroyed? or does SK have good missile shields and defense systems? and If North Korea did.

Update:

I think they're going to sooner or later. that's what Kim Jong Un keeps saying he'll do, I won't be surprised.

Not really. Even if you look at places like Grozny or Stalingrad/Warsaw in WWII, it tooks months of sustained shelling to reduce them to rubble.

The NorK's shells can cause a lot of damage, to be sure, and kill lots of people in the GSMA, but it's not going to flatten it (they can't even hit all of the GSMA for starters).

With that said, the RoKs aren't eager to find out.

Only North Korea's longest range artillery can reach Seoul proper, and there's only so much of that and it can only fire for so long before it wears out/runs out of ammunition/is destroyed.

So, no, I don't believe so.

North Korea can barely light up their own country at night let alone fire a missile. What are they going to do?
