Refund of unused flights?

I was due to fly with Ryanair this week but didnt end up going as passport didnt arrive. I didnt inform them that i wouldnt be making the 3 flights booked. Can I get a refund or part refund..

Update:

Passport no is not needed till you check in online. I was told that passport would reach me in time but it was held up in the post.

Update 2:

The last post was a few hours before flight so I was waiting to see if it would arrive. When I tried to inform the airline I couldnt get through so gave up.

Ryanair doesn't so refunds, you might be able to get some taxes back though:

Even if you had been able to contact Ryanair before your flights departed, you would have not been entitled to a refund -- their tickets are generally nonrefundable, and a situation where a passport does not arrive is not going to suddenly make a nonrefundable ticket refundable.

    No.

There are no refunds for "no shows" on any airline

If you have travel insurance, you should be looking at that to see if your are covered. However since it reads like you booked a flight without a passport in your possession you might be up against it there.

i am also of the opinion that you may not get any refund ., since you have not bothered to inform the airlines

BTW you say the "passport" did not arrive ... how and what passport no. you have given to airliner , if you did not have one?? (most of the airlines ask for the passport no . before booking the ticket, even if it is a domestic one)

Ryanair is a very bad airline. There was once people's fights got delayed for like 8 hours but still couldn't get a refund.many threw their tickets away.If you do get through, they'll probrably say:sorry,we can't help you.So it's unlikely you'll get a refund at all.

In Mick O'Leary's own words: "What part of No Refund do you not understand? You are not getting a refund, so f… off."

so you were a no show.

you can expect that you will not receive a refund.

but to be sure contact them.

Not likely. Especially if you didn't call them when you knew you wouldn't be going. Essentially just not showing up.

And apparently - you don't want to call them now either.

Wholesome cash refund is not possible in this but some part will be there.
