If my yearly salary is 35k, how much will I get paid hourly?

I really suck at math and the job discription for a promotion I've been offered is really skimpy on the details...I'll be working 5-6 hours a day, 5 days a week. I get paid bi-weekly, and no paid vacations..if any of that information helps.

    ~27.5 hours/week

    35000 (salary) / 52 (weeks) = ~673.08 per week.

    673.08 (week) / 27.5 (hours) = ~24.48/hour.

I'd absolutely take it. Many salaried jobs provide more benefits and not to mention the security of having a steady, predictable paycheck.

Why do I get the feeling this is not a real job?

I hope you are not falling for a scam.

Do you still work at Subway?

Subway does not pay this much for part timers.

Subway offers paid vacations. Any real company would.
