How would you best write from an anti-Heros point of view?

I'm writing a story about the sort of guy who is not good nor bad, but isn't driven by morals and beliefs to save people, but simply by what he knows and feels. He is an Anti-Hero-imagine a mix between Rorschach (Watchmen) and Dead Pool. I just find it difficult to write from that point of view because I'm so used to reading from goody good guys points of views in books. How would you write this way...?

If he has thoughts and he does things then you should be able to write with no problem. He is the motivator to the story, the thing that drives your plot.

'Max felt the push from the man rushing past him. He squinted and considered running up to him and knocking him into traffic. He could catch him, the man was rushing but not running. He also thought about screaming at him over the crowd, sort of embarrass him, maybe even start a bit of a tussle to get his own blood flowing. Ultimately he turned the next corner and went on his way. He promised himself next time. Next time'.

Develop the character and keep their motivations/backstory in mind as you write. I don't really know how to tell you how to write them, but maybe answering detailed character interviews or writing short scenes from their POV to experiment.

Remember though: in his mind, he's the "good guy" (or whatever his version of that is).
