To drink it, or to not drink it?

A fan (after begging me to marry him... I respectively declined) gave me a bottle of imported Absinthe, from Amsterdam (the illegal kind haha). He had it wrapped in fine black lace and ribbons with my band's name neatly embroidered on them.

So, do I pop it open? Or do I put it on my mantle with my other gifts and awards?

I've also never had real Absinthe before... how will it be? Lol

Update:

I thought of that... but its still sealed. Idk, kinda hinky about it lol

    Being from Amsterdam, it is probably foul tasting. I would just keep it as a curiosity.
