A Little Evil

I really want Hot Rails in my Gibson Melody Maker that has single coils right now, but online everywhere they say that the Hot Rails are for Fender Strats... why is that? What's the difference?

The local jerk at the music store (who has always been a pig to me, openly saying that he doesn't believe girls should play the guitar), while adjusting my Gibson Les Paul Supreme, suggested that I get a smaller guitar for "Bonnie Raitt fingers"... He did a good job with the adjustment, I paid him and then told him to screw himself, I love my Les Pauls. I basically pretended like I knew what he meant, but I really don't lol

Bonnie played standard guitars, with a slide. I don't get it. Thoughts?

Me: drink beer, eat and attend a Korn and Rob Zombie concert. I'm not a HUGE fan of either, but I do love to see my metal bands live! Its going to be killer >:D

The action on my Les Paul is too high (the neck bows a bit), yet there is still considerable fret buzz on the bass E, A and D strings. If I adjust the tross rod, there will be more fret buzz, if I don't adjust it, my hand will die from over exertion O...o

What should I do? I've never had this problem with any of my other Gibson LPs and I'm at a loss...

My brother has a cat named Demon. He is pure evil. I'm at his house for a visit and Demon is attacking me and going crazy... then he acts all lovey and wants attention. Then he goes all insane again! How do I get him to leave me alone without drop kicking him across the room? He's only 10 weeks old, btw. But he's got some claws and teeth on him! O.O

A fan (after begging me to marry him... I respectively declined) gave me a bottle of imported Absinthe, from Amsterdam (the illegal kind haha). He had it wrapped in fine black lace and ribbons with my band's name neatly embroidered on them.

So, do I pop it open? Or do I put it on my mantle with my other gifts and awards?

I've also never had real Absinthe before... how will it be? Lol

My band and I will be featuring my girlfriend at a show in two weeks (plenty of time to learn something new). She doesn't want to sing any of our usual covers, but she has no idea what to sing. She has a deep tonal quality voice with some slight roughness. Really, quite classy. We play hard rock, thrash and heavy metal... but she was thinking a softish/acoustic song... but she's too indecisive.

No Evanescence, Flyleaf, Fireflight or Paramore. She hates all of them. Ideas? Something classic, maybe?

We call her the "boob chick" cuz she sends pictures of her boobs to my girlfriend. My girlfriend is cursed with too much kindness and refuses to be firm and send her away, because they were childhood friends.

I'm not worried at all lol my girl and I are completely solid for life... but for kicks, I wanna seem really scary to this woman when I go to the bar tonight (where my girl works). Boob chick is going to be there and I want to intimidate the h3ll out of her ;)

I shall be riding my Ducati Monster 696 and wearing full leathers, with a vest and nothing underneath ;) I have already decided lol anything else? Things to say? I'm gonna drink Jack straight like I always do, so I figure that might make me look good ;) hahaha

I'm a chick btw. And my looks have been compared to both, Lzzy Hale and Kate Moennig... so how shall I use this? Lol

My band and I play at open mic night at a friend's bar every Thursday to bring in people to help is business. We have a large-ish, loyal fan base that travel there to see us and they buy food and drinks and it helps a lot... however, there is this country dude that plays after us and, uhhh (how to put it nicely), he sucks. Really bad. He sounds similar to a cat in heat, but not quite as good O.o and his guitar playing... *shudders*... he's scaring people away from the bar... is there a polite and proper way that we could deal with this? We dont want to be cruel and boo him off the stage (he hogs the stage, btw. He sits there and sings 6 songs, when each band/artist/group only gets 3. Tonight a girl didnt get to sing because of him). Our friend is too gutless to make him leave... what can me, my bandmates and other musicians there do?

After my vintage record player was stolen from me, I bought one from an old record store where I live. Its lasted a long time, but recently, its been slowing down and speeding up randomly and there's a loud humming noise coming from the box somewhere. Thoughts? And could this problem damage any of my prized vinyls? Should I just junk it?

Its a Magnavox Semi Auto, with Pansonic Thruster speakers and a Kenwood floor monitor... btw. If that helps at all. The player itself is older than I am...

I've been trying to be supportive, but I just can't take anymore. I think I might go on strike until Lacey comes back lol

Sooooo, I want to put a different bridge pick up in my Gibson Explorer "Thunderhorse". The guitar is a beast already, but I want more crunch... I've never played the Dimebucker on a Gibson before... think it would be too much? If so, what would you suggest? I play heavy metal, thrash and hard rock.

He was named Navarro, but I'm not into Dave Navarro much (like at all), so I need some more ideas. He's a spunky little dude and needs a great rocker name. I already have a Dime and a Dio... ?

Example: Bar soap. Everyone uses it, washes their hands with it etc. I smell it and I want to puke. Seriously. I hate that stuff. I use soft soaps or even dish soap, before I use bar soap lol
