Why does YouTube keep trying to make me use my real name?
Wow is it annoying. I like to comment on videos, but of course you don't use your real name on an internet alias site. But, YouTube keeps throwing up this prompt that's REALLY hard to get out of.
I really hate how Google has become so anti-privacy that they're now trying to FORCE you to browse without an alias.

well, google owns youtube now (i think). so they also have google plus where they think " most people hang out" (what google believes) so if u have a google account they think that u have joined it and you have friends on their so they want you to share your channel on thier so that they can enjoy it aswell
thats why they wanna use you real name.
in a nutshell google want your friends to find your channel quickly or to share it with them

the project is google plus. you merely could desire to make yet another one with the needed call and characteristic the choice to alter back of forth between money owed. merely stay away from connecting google plus in any respect expenses, it messes issues up. many times whilst they're related and you delete G+ it deletes the youtube too simply by fact they're related. this is the only element you're able to do. :(

It saves the NSA from having to shoot of an email to require google (without a warrant) to provide your real name so they can keep track of what you watch in order for them to share the information with the IRS so they know who to target, based on your political beliefs.

Annoying? They only ask you once if you want to use your real name or not. If you don't want, just go that way and its over there. Google supports Privacy. You've got it wrong. Just go to Account settings from Google.com and you can manage your privacy settings.
