Possible inner ear infection?

For a few months now, I have had slightly itchy ears, by this I mean right at the opening into the canal. I have several times now used a Q-Tip to just rub just that area, not sticking it into my ear, just rubbing the opening. However, since this has started and it has gotten progressively worse, my Q-Tip is coming out Greenish yellow with red swirls. I also have a lot of pressure in my ears, but it is allergy season so I'm used to having some. Then the last few days that I have tried to go out for my daily run, I end up nauseated in just a few minutes, and feel very dizzy. I can also feel fluid moving in my ears move. I'm 27 years old, and have never had an ear infection before, not even when I was a baby. So I'm not sure of how all of this is supposed to feel, or if it is just all part of my allergies.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a doctors appointment for tomorrow, but now I'm just curious, because I have a headache, and am at work, and well like I said I just don't know much about ear infections.

Definitely go to the doctor especially if you are feeling dizzy. Allergies should not make you nauseous or dizzy. The greenish discharge is worrisome as well. Make an appointment today.
