Puppies foaming at the mouth and having spasms?
My five week old St. Bernard puppies are all doing the same exact thing. That is they'll begin howling and within minutes start foaming extensively at the mouth and having spasms. I took them to the vet, who said nothing seemed abnormal, they didn't have an episode there, de-wormed them, and sent them home. It's only been an hour and they're at it again. I really don't know what to do!
Update: Only one is doing it now, the other two have calmed down and are drinking liquids. I've spent the last hour calling every vet center and their emergency lines with no luck! No diarrhea just extreme urination when an episode hits. If she can make it through the night, I'm going to the first vet I can get to.

Their sugar might be low. Try giving them some karo syrup to see if that helps. I had pups that were having like seizures types but they werent bad. the vet said the sugar was low. If that doesnt help try to get a second opinion.

I'd bring them to another vet for a second opinion...A good vet would've kept them for at least the day, given fluids, done bloodwork and urinalysis...Sounds like they're having some type of seizure.

Hey-those puppies have gotten into something and ingested it. Take them to your emergency vet or back to your vet or a different vet. You just might loose all of them. Good Luck!

It doesn't sound like Rabies. They would be having issues walking and navigating the house if they did.
It sounds like they may have gotten into something like a house cleaner or something, so you either need to tell your vet to do some tests, or take them to another vet immediately.
