how to remove g62 laptop badge?

i dislike hp and am going or a faux apple look and the little hp logo on the back i ruining it does anyone have experience removing these badges

    Trying to remove this might leave some ugly holes or scratch marks, also the screen is very delicate and it is right under there, being too forceful with it could lead you to cracking the screen.

    May I suggest simply covering the logo with a slightly larger apple?

    I've never tried this, but good luck.
