There is no win or lose. Nonviolence and love are just higher states of being. They are states closer to the devine if you believe in divinity then if not we can at least agree that love and nonviolence feels better than their negative counterparts.

Neither. Regardless of what the masses say, Ghandi was an evil, evil man. The little-recognized reality is that he supported the Nazi conquests in Europe. This is just one of his adresses to Britain, who at the time was facing a expertise German invasion: "I would like you to lay down the arms you will have as being vain for saving you or humanity. You'll invite Herr Hitler and Signor Mussolini to take what they need of the countries you name your possessions.... If these gents opt for to occupy your houses, you will vacate them. If they do not provide you with free passage out, you'll allow yourselves, man, woman, and child, to be slaughtered..." Ghandi stimulated the British to surrender to the facist Germans, and to no longer, to combat on and win the finest victory for humanity in the entirety of history! So he clearly stated "let the nazis take over the arena and kill everybody in it. Do not resist!" Huh. Sounds kind of abnormal, don't you believe? Pacifism isn't a foul thing.... ...However the one thing worse than warfare is to no longer be willing to go to warfare for something. Would you have got let the Nazis take over?

Depends on what kind of "win" you are talking about. If a non-violent protestor is killed by someone who hates and loves violence, who "wins"?
