You can't. Just wait it out. He's having fun with his new teeth and will go on to something else soon.

Just ignore it. Many babies go through a grinding phase when they first have a few teeth to work with. Don't make a big deal out of the behavior, and it will lose its novelty after a short time.

a teething ring . Put it in the freezer to get cold and then let him chew on it. He is doing it because he is still teething and his teeth feel funny .

they're new to him, so he's trying them out. the more attention you give the behavior, the longer it will last. brush & floss his teeth daily, give him plenty of water in his cup, and follow up with the dentist twice a year.
