Freshwater goby tankmates?

I seen a freshwater goby at the LFS today. I don't know what kind it was, it was a light blue. I tried finding it online to see what it's tank requirements and suitable tankmates are but I can't find it. Does anyone have a blue freshwater goby and know what good tankmates would be? I have a 30g with 5 baby African cichlids that were given to me that I'm going to sell so that tank will be empty.

Any suggestions?

Peacock Gobies are light blue and yellow, they are fully freshwater, and a pair would be fine in that size aquarium. They need clean, acidic water. They are territorial so a good amount of rock caves and plants is a good idea. If this is not what you saw, I highly recommend them.

this is available, inspite of the undeniable fact that, maximum folk and information superhighway sites propose brackish. you're perfect, however. you could slowly introduce it to freshwater, merely as they are in a position to slowly be acclimated to a marine tank besides. Like I suggested, however, maximum sites will propose merely putting the goby in this is interior of reach form of water. Many sites/human beings state you're turning out to be many continuing problems in case you place a dragon goby in freshwater. At interior of reach puppy shops (however they now not sell them through fact they're unlawful in my state), they have been advertising them as freshwater fish. however dragon gobies seem aggressive, all of it stops at looks. they're unlawful to sell in some states merely through fact they strengthen fairly great and rapidly, so if somebody have been to launch some in a close-by river it would be conceivable to the interior of reach organic international. they're good with maximum smaller fish, you fairly basically might desire to subject approximately putting them in a tank with bigger, aggressive fish which will %. on them. Edit: (My suggestion to others answering otherwise may be to examine. there isn't something approximately untimely loss of life in any supplies I even have ever learn brackish being acclimated to freshwater. the biggest concern is coping with chemical balances greater often, and a doubtlessly grimy tank. not loss of life.)
