Baseball fans: Would you rather see a high-scoring game or a low-scoring "pitcher's duel"?

Assuming in either case that your team wins, would you rather see 16-14, or 2-0? Does it matter as long your team wins?

high scoring game is explosive and gets the crowd pumped up.

Both types of games have their advantages. If I'm watching a game by myself, I'd much rather see a pitcher's duel. I find those fascinating. I love watching pitchers execute pitchers and making the hitters look hopeless up at the dish. If I'm taking a date to a game or going LIVE, give me the high scoring affair. Those types of games are more entertaining when you're live. On TV during a pitcher's duel, you can truly see how dominating a pitcher's stuff. Unless you have a great seat, you can't see a pitcher's movement or break on his pitches.

I personally would like to see high scoring game its shows how baseball can be a high scoring game. And you get to see how a ball club feeds off of the fans and teammates. I would guess there would be tons of homers in that game. I a pitchers duel is cool but after 3 or 4 innings with one or two hits it takes the excitement out of the game. Don't get me wrong seeing a no no or a perfect game is awesome but come on I can't sit though a ball game with a pitcher's duel going on that's just me

I would rather see a pitcher's duel because bad teams play

16-14 games. A 16-14 score would mean my pitcher had an off

day or that my defense was full of holes-----or both.

High scoring game, because I'd be mega frustrated if my team was on the losing end of a low scoring pitcher's duel.

Pitching duel because not just is the pitcher usually there's some great defense behind the pitcher. Big offensive game can happen of walks and a homerun or two

often a low scoring game. i discover that top scoring video games tend to contain a team or gamers no longer taking part in on the optimum point (awful pitching, for example) jointly as in a glass's duel the two communities are often pitching properly, fielding properly and in a appropriate worldwide the hitters are doing some thing, too, and the pitchers are becoming themselves out of jams.

I prefer a low scoring pitcher's duel. I've always liked good pitching, and to me it feels like a low scoring game magnifies how important and how intense each pitch is/could be.

I saw a Rangers -- Red Sox game at Fenway 5 or 6 years ago in which the final score was 19-16. It was great.

  • As long as the Tigers win, I don't care how it happens. But pitchers' duels can be awe-inspiring.

I much prefer a pitching duel. As an ex-pitcher, I can appreciate the strategy involved as opposed to just trying to outslug your opponents.
