Married, live in central Ohio. Big time hockey fanatic (especially Blue Jackets).
Where can I find a sortable list of one NHL team's record versus a specific team?
For example: Columbus Blue Jackets record versus Detroit Red Wings for the 2013-2014 season.

Have you seen that someone else has given you an t-u, and wanted to return the props... but their answer was just plain bad?

I wasn't sure - because of the Olympics and all.
1 AnswerHockey7 years agoWhy would a god need a plan if he's omnipotent?
I've heard many Christians reference "God's plan," but a plan is a road map for reaching a desired outcome... a truly omnipotent being could just make that outcome happen with a thought - no "plan" required.
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy do we incarcerate those who have been convicted of crimes...?
Is it for:
Punishment?
Rehabilitation?
Protection of the public?
If the penal system were to work - what is the desired outcome?
2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police7 years agoHas marriage become a Federal issue since...?
there are so many Federal benefits associated with the status of "married?"
On the hot-button issue of same-sex marriage, many are saying that marriage is a states rights issue... but is it really, with the multiple Federal benefits and Federal recognition?
2 AnswersGovernment7 years agoDoes the Fourteenth Amendment effectively repeal the Tenth Amendment?
In a discussion of same-sex marriage, those who oppose it cite the Tenth Amendment's section on rights being "reserved to the States," while those who support same-sex marriage cite the Fourteenth Amendment's first section - the "equal protection" clause.
If the Fourteenth Amendment is applying properly then hasn't the states' rights of self government been repealed? If not, what IS still reserved to the states?

Do you feel somewhat obligated to thumbs-up theirs as well?

2 AnswersLanguages7 years agoWas there an error in the Doctor Who Christmas special?
SPOILERS TO FOLLOW***
Near the end of the show, when the Doctor was elderly, a young man rushed into the room and announced that they couldn't hold back the Dalecks - to which, the Doctor responded, "I've got a plan."
The man left. At this point the Doctor turned to Clara and told her "I haven't really got a plan, they just like it when I say that."
The Doctor, who was SUPPOSED to be in a truth field, just lied to one of the two.
Was this an error... or was it a subtle clue that the Time Lords had lowered the truth field?
3 AnswersDrama7 years agoDid I miss an episode of NCIS?
...or was it not on last night?
I am in Ohio, and use DirectTV as my cable provider. I have my DVR set to record new episodes of NCIS, but it has been known to miss recordings due to overlaps or my kids messing with the thing.
The last episode I saw introduced the new girl, Ellie Bishop. Have I missed any since then?
1 AnswerDrama8 years agoWhat is a "GCSE"? I recently read about it...?
in the character descriptions for Broadchurch.
I am unfamiliar with the initials as I am a US fan of the BBC.
1 AnswerStandards & Testing8 years agoDavid Tennant's Doctor occasionally used a phrase I'm not familiar with...?
I'm a US fan of the Doctor Who, and sometimes heard him say something to the affect of "Avant Lee!" when about to charge into a potentially dangerous situation. Is this a British phrase? What does it mean? Where did it come from?
Thank you in advance.
4 AnswersDrama8 years agoI'm not TRYING to argue, but how do Christians reconcile the nature of heaven?
Bare with me here...
In heaven, you're supposed to be "at peace," right?
However,
When our loved ones die, we're told that they're "watching over us."
So... if a parent dies, and watches as his/her offspring are sent to hell... how can they be at peace? Surely, in the history of humanity, this has to have happened many times... mom and/or dad go to heaven... several years later, junior goes the other way.
Which is it? Watches over us? Exists in peace? Watches us but doesn't care? What is the reconciliation for this enigma?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy SHOULDN'T the IRS scrutinize the TEA party?
As I recall, "TEA" is an acronym for "Taxed Enough Already," and it is the job of the IRS to ensure that everyone pays their share of taxes... so please, without turning this into yet another Obama conspiracy argument, tell me why the IRS should have turned a blind eye to what the the TEA party was founded on.
13 AnswersPolitics8 years agoHave there been any new Doctor Who anniversary special rumors, leaks, or spoilers (spoilers inside)?
I know that David Tennant and Billy Piper will be involved, but have there been any rumors on other Doctors (Eccleston? McGann?) or other companions (Gillan? Darvill? Kingston? Borrowman? Ashbrook?)? How about the use of CGI or outtakes for older Doctors? Or who the villain is going to be?

ANYTHING?!?
2 AnswersDrama8 years agoBaseball fans: Would you rather see a high-scoring game or a low-scoring "pitcher's duel"?
Assuming in either case that your team wins, would you rather see 16-14, or 2-0? Does it matter as long your team wins?
13 AnswersBaseball8 years agoHas 2007OR10 been given a name yet?
It just seems as if it should have a common name, since it is in the same category as other dwarf planet "probables" like Orcus, Quaoar, and Sedna.
