wifi computer and lan computer through same router?
I have a Laptop and a Desktop, The Laptop is connected through wifi and the desktop is connected through LAN cable. I am using TP-Link Wireless Modem + Router TD-W8951ND to connect my laptop using wireless lan and Desktop through LAN Cable , I want to share files between the two computer but i am unable to network these computers.If I connect the Laptop through LAN cable,then the Desktop detects the Laptop in the homegroup. please help ! Thanks in Advance

you can share file between wife connected computer and lan connected computer , just make sure both computer is allowing network sharing, make your system ip as static in network properties,and try to connect through ip using RUN (Win Key + R , enter ip of the other computer in open box eg : \\192.168.1.100).

By using most measures, you must be competent to play LAN games correct now supplied that all computers are turned on of course. Are you getting precise blunders whilst you are trying to take action? So far as file sharing, you would just have got to installed shared folders in your operating method. Since you failed to say which OSs you are using, I can not really help an excessive amount of, but most any of them are really straight-forward.

After the computer detects the Laptop Right Click on the drive and left click to share...There you Go!!I hope it Helps...
