Went fishing, wasn't getting any bites but there were tons of fishing jumping?
This was just yesterday. It was upper 60s on and off clouds. There were maybe 4 other people around me I was fishing off a dock using you name it rattle traps spinners cranks shallow and deep poppers jigs worms basically everything. Not getting a single bite. tons of times huuuge fish would jump sometimes 3 times in a row and none of us were getting any bites. When the clouds would cover the sky oh man would that cause em to jump even more. there were trout bass blue gill crappie all of em. I had wanted to try flies but didn't bring any bubbles with me. do you think that would have worked?

I guarantee you, 100% without a doubt, that those jumping fish were just carp. Corn or bread are the baits to use for them.

I agree with its a squatch. If those were trout, blue gill, bass or crappie they were feeding on a hatch and once they start on the hatch that is what they are concentrated on

They are carp, they jump like that to loosen the eggs in their bellies. In a couple weeks they will be tailing in the shallows laying eggs.

They were keyed in on a hatch of bugs just above the surface of the water. You would need to present what they were taking. This happened to me on Saturday...but I was fly fishing. My problem was, I couldn't find the right fly.
