Do you forsee U.S. ground troops in a country within the next 3 years?

First of all, im joining the Marines at the end of the 2014 year and should be done with all training by early 2015. Will i go to afghanistan? I heard all combat troops are coming out then some ppl say we will still have thousands of troops there until the 2020s. Also, do you forsee us ground troops in a country like syria or iran within the next couple of years? Thanks
