Windows 8 disaster problem.?

My Windows XP crashed and, in a mad moment, I "upgraded" to Windows 8. It is an absolute disaster. Now I want to go back to XP but I am having problems. I do not have a CD drive on my notepad. Can somebody please suggest how I can recover my beloved XP, please? Thanks a lot.

It is going to depend on rather you have a recovery partition. If you do, the install of Windows 8 might have disable it. I have already seen that happen on several puters. You did not post the make and model so use the link below to find out how to get to your BIOS menu. When you press the power button, start tapping the F key that is for your make and see if you can get to the BIOS menu. If you can, look for a a recovery or restore back to factory settings. If this does not work your going to have to contact the maker of your puter to see if they have recovery DVD. If it had XP, it has some age and they might be available.

Had the same problem, when you install windows 8 it takes over your OS system, i had to call on my geek buddy to sort it out. You could try doing a system restore and set your computer to an early time before you installed 8 . I had to use my XP disc to start all over again, maybe a good idea to take it to a store to fix it for you or a geek buddy . Good Luck with that .

If u know how to use torrent sites, u can download the original windows xp ISO file and make a bootable flash drive with it on there and reinstall it on your tablet just like using a disc
